Currently, Mac computers offer limited ways to use Dio Node speakers natively. However, you can unlock full multi-speaker functionality for Dio Node by downloading a third-party app. Below are instructions for each option.

Note that an iOS device is required to setup Dio Node.

You can get a third-party app to unlock the full multi-speaker experience for Dio on your Mac. These apps will allow you to play audio from any site or app to any number of Dio speakers via Apple AirPlay 2.

There are many options for apps that can do this, but we have the most experience with Airfoil by Rogue Amoeba. Note that there may be additional costs associated with third-party Mac apps such as Airfoil.

How to Use Dio on Android (limited functionality)

Dio Node does not natively integrate with Android as it does with Apple devices, but you can use third-party apps to enable limited functionality. These apps may only be compatible with specific audio services and will not stream all audio from your phone to your Dio Node speakers.

Note that an iOS device is required to setup Dio Node.

There are many options for third-party Android apps that can stream to Dio Node via DLNA or Apple AirPlay 2, but we have the most experience with AirMusic. While AirMusic is incredibly robust, it is only compatible with certain audio services. We are aware of it working well with YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer, and TuneIn, among other services.

Note that there may be additional costs associated with third-party Android apps such as AirMusic.
