Release Notes

1.0.4 (08/23/2024)

What We Improved:

- We made several major improvements to the stability and performance of the speaker. You can now use Dio Node on weaker Wi-Fi networks and experience significantly fewer dropouts.

- In some cases of power or network failures in the home, Dio Node would not automatically rejoin the last known Wi-Fi network. After initial setup, Dio Node will now always rejoin its last known Wi-Fi network unless users manually trigger the Wi-Fi reset process to move it to a new network.

- After connecting to a speaker, users sometimes experienced a brief volume spike when starting their audio. That issue has been resolved. AirPlay will now normalize to the speaker's last registered volume level when beginning playback, and volume may be adjusted after playback begins.

- We have now added a function for users to cancel the firmware update process after it begins. As a reminder, you may update your speaker by pressing and holding 3 buttons for 2 seconds. If you wish to cancel the update midway through the process, you can now press and hold the 3 buttons on the speaker for 2 seconds again.

How To:

Use the method described in your user manual or on this page. We also have a video tutorial on how to update your speaker that you can watch here. Please do not unplug your speaker during the update process.
